Periodontal Treatment
Periodontitis is a set of inflammatory diseases affecting the tissues that surround and support the teeth. It involves progressive loss of the bone around the teeth, and if left untreated, can lead to the loosening and subsequent loss of teeth. Periodontal disease has also been associated with other chronic inflammatory conditions, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. For those patients with specific forms of periodontal disease, a deeper cleaning, or Scaling and Root Planing, may be recommended to prevent further progression of the disease. Patients with periodontal disease are seen more frequently in order to maintain a healthy dentition. Such therapy may also be done in conjunction with a periodontist, or gum specialist.

Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Therapy involves treatment for the damaged or diseased soft tissue (pulp) within the tooth whose end result is to eliminate infection and protect the tooth from future infection. Once root canal therapy has been completed, a crown is often indicated to support the remaining tooth structure.

Oral Surgery
Extractions are performed on those teeth that are unable to be saved due to extensive decay, infection, or fracture. For those more complicated surgical procedures, such as impacted third molars or implant placement, we offer in-office consultations with an oral surgeon to adequately prepare for the procedure.

Implant Therapy
A Dental Implant is placed in the bone to support a dental prosthesis; a single crown to restore one missing tooth, or a bridge or denture to restore multiple missing teeth. It has become the ideal, long-term solution for tooth replacement and is now considered standard-of-care. Dr. Scott Clinton has been restoring dental implants in collaboration with oral surgeon, Dr. Neil Hagen, for almost thirty years. This collaboration provides our patients a unique opportunity for Comprehensive Implant Care.

TMJ and Occlusion Evaluation and Treatment
A thorough evaluation of the Temperomandibular Joint and surrounding structures is important in order to determine any existing conditions as well as possible treatment alternatives. This involves an evaluation of the jaw joint, surrounding muscles, and occlusion, or bite.
- Evaluation of the TMJ and surrounding musculature
- Occlusal Equilibration
- Night-guard fabrication

Invisalign Therapy
Invisalign is an esthetic and hygienic form of Orthodontic Treatment. A series of custom-made removable aligners are made to incrementally move the teeth into a more ideal position. It is a more esthetic alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign is not an ideal treatment for all patients so an evaluation is necessary to determine if such treatment would be appropriate for each individual.
