COVID-19: Working Together to Keep You Safe
At Clinton Dental Professionals, we are continually focused on the health and wellbeing of our patients and our team. We are all happy to be back serving our patients and take great pride in providing a safe and healthy environment for everyone. We have closely followed the direction of the CDC and American Dental Association by implementing the following protocols and have also identified ways in which you can also help.
What we are doing
- We will be reviewing screening questions with each patient on the phone prior to your appointment.
- Patients will only enter and leave the office when directed by CDP staff to facilitate proper social distancing.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office.
- Each CDP team member will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Additional time has been scheduled between appointments for a thorough cleaning of the treatment rooms.
- Additional measures are being taken to regularly disinfect communal spaces such as the reception area, front desk and rest rooms.
- We are implementing special appointment times for our most vulnerable patients.
- We are offering special appointment times for patients to condense multiple appointments into one block to limit the number of times required to come into the office.
- Offering financial arrangements to help ensure affordable care.
- We have invested in both a medical-grade air purification system as well as multiple extra-oral evacuation systems that have been placed throughout the office to help clean and purify the air both during and after a dental procedure.
What can you do
- When you arrive, call us from your car. We will let you know when we are ready for you so you can avoid the reception area and go straight back to a clean and sterilized treatment room.
- Please enter the building and office wearing a mask covering both your nose and mouth.
- Please leave family members at home to limit the number of people in the practice.
- If you are feeling unwell and experiencing any of the symptoms listed below, please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment.
- Fever
- Cough, Sore Throat
- Chills
- Shortness of breath
- Muscle aches
- Loss of sense of taste of smell
- Nausea/Vomiting
- Runny Nose
- Headache
- Abdominal pain and/or diarrhea
- Maintain social distancing with 6 feet or more with other patients and our front office team.
- If you experience a fever or any COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of your appointment, please call us and let us know.
- Tell your friends and family about your visit. We will provide the same healthy environment for them to have any necessary treatment completed.
If you have any questions about COVID-19 and/or your dental health, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our team members are happy to help clarify any questions you may have. If you or a loved one are medically compromised and prefer to postpone elective dental care, the doctors and hygienists are also available to discuss the status of your oral health and determine how best to manage your dental care in the coming months.
We will continue to reach out and update you on a regular basis throughout various forms of contact. Please follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information, as well as tips and resources on how to maintain your oral hygiene at home during these times. We are so grateful for all of your patience and cooperation and look forward to seeing you soon!
